What is my pin?

A pin is a four digit number that, along with your library card number, allows you to log in to your online account. If you don’t remember your pin contact the library at 435-615-5600.

What are the library hours?

The library is open Monday – Thursday from 10 am to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 1 – 5 pm. For holiday closures check the library calendar by clicking here.

How do I get a library card?

Fill out an application at the library. Bring a picture ID and proof of physical address. Depending on the type of card there may be an associated fee. Click here for types of cards and more information.

I’ve lost my library card. Now what?

Notify the library so we can block your account. Bring a photo ID and $2.00 to replace your library card.

Does my library card expire?

Yes, resident cards expire every two years; non-resident cards expire every year. You can renew them by coming in to the library with an ID and proof of physical address. Visitor cards expire every six months and are not renewable.

How many items can I place on hold on my card?

You are allowed up to five holds on your card.

How many items can I check out?

This depends on what type of library card you have. To find out more about library cards and check out limits click here.

How do I renew my library materials?

You can renew library materials by accessing your account online, calling the library, or in person. Please note that you can renew an item up to two times if there is no hold on it and if it is not a special collection item, such as a Rapid Reader. To access your account online click here.

What happens if my materials are overdue?

If you return items late you will be charged late fines. To see fine amounts by item type click here.

How do I recommend a purchase for the library?

You can recommend that the library purchase an item by filling out a purchase request form at the library or online by clicking here.

What is Interlibrary loan? How can I request a book?

If you would like to borrow an item that we do not own and if it is older than five months we can request it from another library. There is a $1.00 charge assessed when the item arrives. You may request an Interlibrary loan by filling out a form at the circulation desk or online by clicking here.

Does the library have Internet access?

Yes, the library has computers available to the public with Internet access for no charge.

Does the library have Wi-Fi?

Yes, the library has free Wi-Fi.

Is there a limit on how long I can use an Internet computer? Can I reserve a computer in advance?

Library computers can be used for 30 minutes at a time. There is no limit on how many times you can use them throughout the day. Reservations must be made in person and can’t be made in advance.

Can I print at the library?

Yes, the library has printing. Black & white prints cost $0.10 per page and color prints cost $1.00 per page.

Does the library have a copier, scanner, and fax?

The library has a color copier but does NOT have a scanner or fax.

How do I apply for a job at the library?

Library positions are posted here. Unfortunately, we can only accept applications for current openings.

How do I volunteer at the library?

Please stop by the circulation desk for an application. You must be 16 to volunteer and 18 to perform court ordered community service.

Does the library accept donations of books?

Yes, the library does accept book donations. The books are either added to our collection or donated to the Friends of the Library. We can’t guarantee that any donated item will be added to our collection.
