Book Talk – Silent Spring

Rachel Carson’s book, SILENT SPRING, turns 50 this year.

It’s release in 1962 opened the public’s eyes to the harm that indiscriminate use of man-made pesticides and herbicides was having on plants, insects, animals and, in some cases, humans.

Chris Cherniak will be at the Park City Library on Tuesday, October 2nd at 7 pm to discuss this book and the influence it has had over the years. The program will take place in the Roger Harlan Meeting Room.
