A virtual, free film screening will be held December 2-7. https://parkcitylibrary.org/event/put-the-brights-on-virtual-film-screening/

About the film: “Put the Brights On” pairs edited interviews with rural transgender subjects with original 16mm and s8 visuals as well as found footage to create a non-fiction experimental look at trans people who prefer not to live in the city. Recorded and shot in “Greater Minnesota” but also relevant to the national focus on the rural/urban divide.

This event is part of the Representing Ourselves speaker series. The Representing Ourselves speaker series shares authentic, personal stories told by those who have first-hand knowledge of being part of a marginalized group.

Park City Library thanks the Friends of the Library for supporting this event.
