Join the Summer Challenge

The Park City Library’s annual Summer Challenge is June 4th to August 21st. Those wishing to participate should visit the library to sign up, create their goal, pick up a magnet to remind oneself of the goal, and enter for a chance to win the grand prize – an iPad mini! STEAM kit prizes will be available every other week at the library for participants to pick up.

Anyone can participate in the Summer Challenge – you don’t even need a library card – and visitors are welcome to join! Goals that participants create can vary from reading a certain number of books to learning a new piece of technology or a new language – almost anything can be one’s summer goal!

The Kimball Arts Center’s Young Artists’ Academy created an interactive art installation which allows participants to see their goal on a solar eclipse! Why an eclipse? The end of Summer Challenge celebration will be a Solar Eclipse picnic on August 21st. At the picnic, everyone will be able to view the eclipse (with glasses that are provided) and receive prizes.
