This is the third book in the trilogy the Chronicles of the One. If you liked Stephen King's book The Stand, then you will enjoy reading this trilogy by Nora Roberts. It is good versus evil like in The Stand, however, one woman named Fallon is the chosen one who continues to build her army so she can fight the black dragon and the darkness that is evil. The evil was re-woken in Scotland in her first book, entitled Year One. Masses were wiped off the face of the earth except some of the people who had magical means and who had the light within them. It was a time of rebuilding life despite the constant raids by the evil ones. If you like fantasy, it's one of her best reads.
I love this book so much I bought it for myself. Gretchen challenges habits. How to keep them, how to start them, and why it can be so easy to fall out of an important habit. She uses her own story to connect the reader to who they are. The first two chapters gave me so much insight into myself and what systems work well for me. As I said, I bought this book so that I could continue to reference it and write notes within its pages. If you are looking into being the best You in any way, check out "Better than Before". Gretchen supports you along the way. My family has also started reading and listening to the audiobook on my recommendation. Enjoy!
This book is fascinating! It tells the story of the heist of priceless specimens from the British Natural History Museum by a young man obsessed with collecting beautiful - and rare - feathers. The Feather Thief is as much about the history of science as it is a heist book, and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone interested in either topic!
