Every year the Park City Library hosts a “Wasatch Back Local Author Night” highlighting 10 authors who either live in the Wasatch Back or have written content pertaining to the Wasatch Back. The Wasatch Back is defined as Summit or Wasatch Counties.
Who qualifies to enter: Authors who either live in the Wasatch Back (Summit or Wasatch Counties) or are regional authors who’s work has a connection to the Wasatch Back.
When: The third Thursday of the month in September
September 19th, 2019 from 6:30-8:30pm
Where: Park City Library’s Santy Auditorium and Community Room
Event Details: Each author will present their work for 5 minutes on a panel followed by a Q&A. There will be a reception where authors can have an individual booth to sell books or give out promotional items. Refreshments will be provided by the Park City Library.
Note: Applications are open until June 30th. Applications are reviewed by a committee in July and authors will be notified by July 31st if they are accepted into the event.
Check back Spring of 2020 for the new round of applications.
