2022 - Refine User Experience
Visit the two new libraries in Salt Lake City to bring back ideas to enhance user experience. Attend webinars, conferences and hold staff meetings with local organizations to learn about better ways to serve our community.
2023 - Evaluate Service Hours
Use historic data to explore changes to service hours while staying in live with current budget allotments.
2024 - Perform a 10-year Facility Analysis
Perform a 10-year facility analysis: Review the library facility to see what updates are needed to continue the library’s mission within an aging and historic building.
Inclusivity
Create an environment which our differences are celebrated and supported.
2022 - Become a Kulture City Venue
Complete the process of becoming a Kulture City Venue that will welcome neurodiverse users.
2023 - Conduct a Diversity & Accessibility Audit
Create criteria to examine our collections, amenities, and programs to ensure we represent our diverse community as well as a broad range of perspectives.
2024 - Prioritize and Plan Changes Based on Audit
Use the data gathered from the diversity and accessibility audit to implement improvements.
Community Relationships
Reach beyond library walls to better understand and serve the public.
2022 - Establish a Sustainability Center
Cultivate a sustainability center containing innovative and green amenities, as well as collections to serve our community and the overall Park City Municipal net zero goal of 2030.
2023 - Issue Library Cards for Every Park City School District Student
Build a stronger relationship with the Park City School District, which will allow for the creation of a streamlined library card process for every student.
2024 - Explore the possibility for a Park City Book Festival
Evaluate funding options and community interest in a Park City book festival that involves a variety of local stakeholders.
Lifelong Learning
Encourage and foster growth across all life stages.
2022 - Expand Teen Services
Implement a pilot internship program for teens working in the library.
Additionally, staff will work towards offering a Teen Weekly Meeting for teens to plan and implement events they are interested in.
2023 - Develop Intergenerational Programming
Create events that connect all generations in shared interests.
2024 - Assess YouCreate Lab & Databases
 In alignment with the 10-year facility analysis, the YouCreate Lab and Database offerings will be assessed in relation to the community’s creative and innovative needs.
