The way we receive and pursue knowledge has changed and the Park City Library is consistently embracing options to offer our patrons a variety of ways to access information.
Your patron card includes benefits that can be utilized on the Park City Library’s website: parkcitylibrary.org. One of the resources you can access is free digital newspapers and magazines. A digital format is an online version of a traditional print newspaper, where news and information are accessible through a digital platform like a website or mobile app; allowing for real-time updates and multimedia content, often optimized for reading on devices like computers, tablets, and smartphones.
With your library card and pin you have instant access to digital content such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York times, and more content through Pressreader and Libby. For the NY Times and WSJ, patrons must create a user account and be logged in on NYTimes.com and/or WallstreetJournal.com to utilize one of the Library’s licenses for unlimited access. These papers offer 48-72 hour renewable access. Within Pressreader’s digital landscape you can access more than 7,000 newspapers and magazines in over 64 languages. The Libby app offers you instant access to borrow thousands of eBooks, Audiobooks, and Magazines within the Beehive Library Consortium which is composed of 70 member libraries. It’s simple! It takes just a few taps to find and borrow a title, and you can download them for offline access or stream them to save space.

To begin access go to parkcitylibrary.org. Find the e-library tab then click on digital newspapers and magazines. From there you will find all the digital options our library offers. Happy Reading!
