Loan Period
All circulating items check out for three weeks with the exception of Unique Items which checkout for one week.

- Resident, Non-resident, Student and Educator cards: 50 items
Item Limits by Material Type
- DVDs, Magazines, Maps, Music CDs, Books on CD and MP3s: 10 of each
- Unique Items: 5
Renewals
You may renew eligible items twice in person, by phone at 435-615-5600, or through our website. Please have your library card handy when renewing by phone.
Holds
If you would like an item that is currently loaned, you may place it on hold at the Library by phone at 435-615-5600, or through our website. We will contact you when the item becomes available.
Interlibrary Loans
If you need materials not found in the Library catalog, we may be able to borrow them for you from libraries throughout the country. There is a $1 charge per item which is collected when you pick up your item. It takes approximately two weeks to obtain most materials. You may request any item that was published over twelve months ago.
Purchase Requests
Is there something you would like the Library to purchase for the collection? All requests are considered but not all are purchased. If the item is purchased, we will contact you when it is available for you to check-out. If we are not able to purchase the item we will contact you.
Lost or Damaged Items
The replacement cost plus a $5.00 processing fee will be charged for a lost item. Damaged items are assessed on an individual basis. A notice is sent and the fee is noted in the patron’s record.
Book Drop
The book drop is located outside the Library and is available anytime.

Does my library card expire?
Resident cards expire every two years. Non-resident, Student, and Educator cards expire every year. You can renew your card by coming into the Library with an ID, proof of physical address, and payment (when applicable).
What are the Library Hours?

I’ve lost my library card. Now what?
Notify the Library so we can block your account. Bring a photo ID and $2.00 to replace your Library card.
How many items can I place on hold on my card?
You are allowed up to five holds on your card.
How many items can I check out?
This depends on what type of library card you have. To find out more about library cards and check out limits click here.
How do I renew my Library materials?
You can renew Library materials by accessing your account online, calling the Library, or in person. Please note that you can renew an item up to two times if there is no hold on it and if it is not a special collection item, such as a Rapid Reader. To access your account online click here.
Does the Library have Internet access?
Yes, the Library has computers available to the public with Internet access for no charge.
Does the Library have WiFi?
Yes, the Library has free WiFi.
Is there a limit on how long I can use a computer? Can I reserve a computer in advance?
Library computers can be used for one hour at a time. However if no one is waiting you may stay on longer. There is no limit on how many times you can use them throughout the day.
Can I print at the Library?
Yes, the Library has printing capabilities. Black and white prints cost $0.10 per page and color prints cost $1.00 per page. Visit our technology page for instructions on how to print from your device.
Does the Library have a copier, scanner, and fax?
The Library has a color copier that you can scan and email to yourself but does NOT have a fax machine.

How do I apply for a job at the Library?

How do I volunteer at the Library?
Please see our volunteer page or pick up an application at the information desk. You must be 16 to volunteer and 18 to perform court-ordered community service.

Does the Library accept donations?
Yes. For our temporary donation procedures, please check our current services.
What happens if my materials are overdue?
As of January 2019, the Park City Library no longer charges fines on overdue items. If you have lost an item, please contact the Library at (435) 615-5600 for the replacement cost.
