Celebrate Winterfest at the Park City Library! What is Winterfest? Pretty simple… a community celebration of winter held over February 9th and 10th. This year Winterfest has expanded with partnerships with the Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center (PC MARC), Park City Ice Arena, Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, Lucky Ones Coffee, Special Olympics Utah, and Park City Community Foundation’s Climate Fund. Please note the locations of each activity.
There will be two ongoing library events over the two-day festival: the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale (read below) and Coffee & Hot Chocolate Mug Swap. Bring in your favorite mugs and, perhaps, find a new favorite to bring home!
Thank you to the Friends of the Park City Library for sponsoring Winterfest. The Friends of the Park City Library is a non-profit volunteer group dedicated to supporting the Library. Consider becoming a member and shopping at their used book sales, like the one during Winterfest, to help support funding needs for the Friends of the Library.
Shop thousands of gently used books at bargain prices at the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale. Open Friday, February 9th from 9am-4pm and Saturday, February 10th from 8am-4pm. “Bag Happy Hour” is on Saturday from 2-4pm where you can fill a provided tote bag for $15.
Shop at the Friends of the Library Book Sale and help the Friends support the Library’s rich offerings. In the last year, thanks to donors and shoppers, the Friends have been able to provide a makeover of our teen area, fund the Local Speaker Series and mindfulness events, extend ebook and graphic novel purchasing, and much more!
